More than 7000 pieces are being exhibited by Vitra
The Vitra Schaudepot was designed by Herzog & de Meuron and hosts part of the collection of the Vitra Design Museum.
Presenting key items from its vast collection and establishing one of the largest permanent exhibits and contemporary furniture design research sites, they showcase 7000 pieces, more than 1000 lighting objects, and various archives of leather chairs.
Holding key objects in its extensive collection from renowned designers such as Charles and Ray Eames, their selected archives also enable a scientific study of relevant design topics displayed in it.
