Exclusive first look at HYPESTEIN's new Stockholm store
After being the first Swedish limited-sneakers online shop, HYPESTEIN's growth didn't slow down.
By the time Vedad Fisic started his legacy, he'd already turned his passion for curating cutting-edge streetwear into a profession, as you can read all about in our full [metcha originals] interview.
Starting at Vedad's kitchen, the stock kept on growing and fishing a huge community with his online shop filled with sneakers, streetwear, and collectors finds. His newest project challenges the times once more with the launch of his new store with no investors, no loans, just pure grind.
"My wife and I are doing it by ourselves without any previous experience. We want to give the warm feeling because exclusive stores are mostly without personal touch and look like copy/paste," Vedad shared with us during the store renovation process.
The personal touch he talked about gets obvious as soon as you wait on big queues for sneaker swap meets & enter to discover the handpicked steals on the shelf.
2020 can for sure be associated with loads of negative events, but HYPESTEIN's team has a lot to celebrate by opening a brand new customized store and arranging the biggest sneaker swap meet ever in Sweden.
"We can’t wait for 2021. Maybe there will be an even bigger sneaker swap meet. Well, you never know, stay tuned with us at this roller coaster ride and thank you so much for your support through these times," Vedad celebrates with the community that keeps growing.
The grand opening steals included a bunch of fresh Off-White such as a white Jordan 1 in a balanced combo of suedes and leather. You could even find an Adidas Yeezy Butter with no box — just carefully curated GOATs.
His NBA collection also made the cut as he displays vintage tees, players figurines, and basketball tradings you have to run & grab before they're sold out.
All exclusive & for the long run.
If you can, pop at the new HYPESTEIN store on Bondegatan 48, Stockholm, for timeless finds.
