The first time ever drop of this collaboration had monochromatic white and black colorways which pretty soon evolved into red on black and other variations with the use of gray — with every pair featuring 1017 ALYX 9SM's signature anodized buckle.

This design got the attention of not only social media but also Matthew's friends like Kendall Jenner and Russian stylist Lotta Volkova.
