TOO CAN CAFÉ by SOAR.
We are very much in favor of the right plants in the right places, we even talk about how they've brought us humanity in these secluded times, and you can read it here. Green choices really do have the power to refresh any project and breathe new life into a place, as SOAR's architects did.
The renovation took place in 2019, transforming an old building in Bangkok into the current TOO CAN CAFÉ and workplace. With simple adjustments, the architects were able to bring the outside in, keep the construction's original features, and create an eco living space to work and chill.
Part of the second floor was removed to let the light in, after all, it's a small jungle. They made a mezzanine and connected open spaces so that artificial lighting was not very necessary, another point for plants and the planet.
This concern continues in the furniture, with a mix and match of references, textures, colors, and eras. All available seats are different from each other, you can sit on a suede director's chair, a bar stool, a leather divan, or even the seat of a Vespa. How do you like your coffee?
Did you know that '70s sofas are back? On here.
