Mowalola’s new designs improves her cult leather accessories.
The Nigerian designer’s leather takes are still on fire.
Graduated from the birthplace of big names such as McQueen and Galliano, she masters the skill of blending expertise with the most genuine references.
At such a young age, it’s impossible not to be astounded.
Mowalola's leather world is an ode to her own Nigerian origins, build with purposelly made designs and a powerful perspective that sees the body as a huge inspiration for suggestive yet timeless pieces.
Having been the Director Designer of Yeezy Gap and attracted all West-Kardashian family as stans, along with Solange, Drake and Naomi Campbell, the truth is that when it comes to Mowalola, there’s always more to expect.
As a proof, her recent launches were new takes on her cult accessory Bundle Bag, a go-to design with the brand's logo embossed on its leather.
Available in various sizes, a range of new colors — yellow, pink, orange, purple & the Acid Cow print — enhance the curvy leather shape. When spotted hanging on the designer’s body, she makes it seems like they are the only piece we all might ever need.
Both bags are available for purchase at Mowalola’s web store, and the prices are US$897 for the medium size and US$1,173 for the large one, an oversized purse designed to steal the spotlight.
Shameless & confident about the space she’s conquered, Ogunlesi’s path keeps presenting us with breathtaking pieces that can turn any fit into an authentic statement.
All about boldness in apparel culture here.
