why BMW i3 brings all we ask for in an electric car
This electric BMW i3 brings all we ask for in a modern car: being eco-sustainable, fast enough for the city streets, easy to park, reasonably spacious and, of course, comfy.
In this sustainable car, downhill, deceleration, and braking the electric motor acts as a generator, converting the kinetic energy to recharge the batteries — the range of the BMW i3 can reach 130 km. These four wheels are here to master your day-to-day life.
This car is always ready for the road and to explore new avenues. With style and a trend-setting design for electrifying driving pleasure, it comes with a simple and very elegant cabin with leather details.
Speaking of the interior features, it comes with partial leather and wool-trimmed seats, silver steering wheel inserts, and a gorgeous eucalyptus wood dashboard. Top-spec suite versions come with full leather seats, leather trim for the instrument cover, and a dark oak-colored dashboard along with extended mood lighting and plush velour floor mats.
Daniela Bohlinger, who works to promote sustainability at all BMW Group design brand studios, made a statement about the sustainable choice of materials in an interview at BMW Group website. When asked about the use of nothing but natural olive leaf extract for the leather tanning, she said:
"Olive leaf tanning is safe for the environment and the leather itself required very little processing. We also made sure the tanned leather retains its breathability and the softness of aniline leather. By the way, olive leaves recovered from the harvest are generally viewed as waste – but I see huge potential in them.”
Premium and long-lasting materials for elegant and timeless workmanship.
