UGG teamed up with the tattoo artist Dr. Woo
Let's start by talking about how UGG is committed to continue working to make stylish shoes which are better for both us and our planet.
The brand's materials and supply chain are a huge part of their journey to corporate sustainability, which is why they support responsible consumption and production.
Always seeking sustainable alternatives for key materials, and sourcing materials like leather, 98% of the total wool used for the footwear is repurposed from sheepskin that is a by-product of the food industry.
Innovation in production & also in creation, now that UGG got together with Dr. Woo — Los Angeles’ most sought-after tattoo artist for the influential elite — for a collaborative collection.
Previously, Woo already partnered with brands such as Converse and sacai, besides dropping his own skincare label, Project Woo.
Since studying at the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood under the legendary Mark Mahoney, Woo learned the essence and complexity of the single needle style that he is known for. His understanding of the style from his private studio Hideaway has brought tattoos from a subculture to the focus of mass culture at large.
He leads a movement in which tattoos, art, and fashion become one and the same, having a global following in the millions. And a worldwide crisis hasn’t put a damper on his latest effort, since Dr. Woo debuted this campaign with UGG called Feel ____ during quarantine.
