To customize or not to customize?
Adidas is really working on relaunching classics, we even showed you a list of designs for skateboarding some time ago. But now, the sneaker is for those who prefer the courts.
Launched at the beginning of last month, the Adidas Forum 84 Low Shoes came with an April 1st prank. In fact, the '80s classic came with a strap that not all fans liked, but it's okay because it's removable.
The once-basketball-staple comes in three color options: Footwear White / Crew Green / Wild Pine. All with a timeless leather structure and the three stripes in suede. This design is so iconic that those who managed to get it are already making their customizations.
It’s a good time for Adidas to bring a design like this because before some brands treated sneakers as disposable things as they do today, there was a genuine concern for durability. Fortunately, this has been rescued with sustainability policies, like reusing leather and saying no way to materials that take 500 years to decompose.
So, go for classics, they last forever. The Forum 84 was available for US$100 on adidas' website and authorized stores, but it's already sold out.
If you like unique sneakers, you've come to the right place.
