This Ugly Ducklings trio goes hard
The Nike Dunk Low Ugly Duckling pack is originally from 2001 and returned this year. Being incredibly well-received, it introduces the classic design to a new generation, extending its lifespan tenfold.
This is one of the most stunning retro drops in 2020, and we have had some special releases that have won their place in the trophy cabinet — check 'em at our sneakers section.
It's the first of Nike's Japan-exclusive Ugly Duckling pack. Alongside the Veneer and Ceramic silhouettes, there is the Plum.
The Plum colorway, originally unveiled in 2001, is not only rare but also one of the most popular in the Dunk family. Back in 2011, the Plum version returned to the shelves in the high-top version, but now, for the first time since the original, this release brings the low-top version. The sneaker is made of luxury suede and different shades of purple complemented by red features in the OG molds. Make sure you grab this piece of Nike's history before it disappears again.
Dressed in Veneer, Autumn Green, and Deep Purple, the premium suede dresses this entire sneaker with a unique colorway that draws shades of yellow and green. Brown covers the side paneling, toes, and heel quickly while the overlays surrounding the toes, eyestays, and ankles are painted green. Purple is then used for an interesting look on the Nike Swoosh, laces, and heel tab that allows yellow to show on the sockliner. The ugly Duckling model is then completed with a white midsole.
Also made of premium suede, this pair has black covers on the side paneling and toes, while Ceramic Orange highlights the design on the many overlays, sockliner, and outsole. A light olive green paints the Nike Swoosh logo, heel, and tongue labels, as well as the laces.
The trio is available at StockX — will you make a bid on one of 2020's top packs before the year ends?
