The new Puffy Lounge Chair brings all we need
Hem and Faye Toogood have just launched their collab: the Puffy Lounge Chair. It is the debut item of the forthcoming Puffy Seating Collection — which will include a selection of products for chairs and stools with a new take on steel-framed furniture.
The two key elements of this seating design by Faye Toogood are in purposeful and playful juxtaposition. The detachable upholstery of the Puffy Lounge Chair is fat and plump, but also has a flexible, super-strong structure, besides the incredible comfort.
The design is available in three upholstery colors and three frame finishes that can be mixed and matched. The steel frames come in Sandblasted Stainless Steel, Powder Coated Black Gray, and Powder Coated Cream. The duvet is available in Natural Canvas, Anthracite Canvas, and Sand colored Leather.
The elementary frame is inspired by the rational structure of classic modernist design, whilst the extravagant quilt-like upholstery, which warmly embraces and envelopes, is comforting and reassuring.
Given that, the Puffy Lounge Chair frame is available in powder-coated or sand-blasted steel finishes and a luxurious leather upholstery. We can say that, in this case, comfort and modern aesthetics are two must-haves we can check off our checklist for furniture design. Leather brings the luxe and durability that you look for when buying a designer piece, but is also tough and flexible, meaning it naturally resists punctures and tears. Because of its natural properties, it remains strong even around seams, and it's also super resistant, lasting longer.
The lounge chair’s tubular structure is just visible beneath its removable upholstery that resembles an ultra-cozy surface. Its generous shape spills freely over the sides of a tubular steel frame which, in stark contrast, is hard-lined and strong.
