The multi-colored retro pair were all craving
The AIR JORDAN dove into Fall 2020 with the mindset of enhancing several of their classic silhouettes with a more modern flair, and decided to launch their footwear collection a little bit differently this year. They unveiled a 12-pair collection that should be releasing during the months of July, August, and September, barring any postponements.
Instead of continuing to revive more OG colorways, the brand included a new design in this lineup with a colorful Air Jordan 1 High OG inspired by Tokyo — set to be one of the most eclectic releases the silhouette will see later this Fall.
Nodding to the essence of the Japanese city known for its vibrant street culture and neon lights, there's fluorescent orange, pink, and blue diverting attention to the sneaker’s throat. Underfoot, the sole units follow the eye-catching suit, but with a faint neon green midsole/black outsole combination.
Shimmering silver profile Swooshes atop black suede unite both halves of this upcoming Air Jordan retro; however, they’re nearly overshadowed by the arrangement across the tongue and collar. Toe caps start with dark navy leathers while the toe box itself carries a lighter aqua blue hue; then, around black laces and base layers, metallic silver swoosh arcs adjacent to brown-tinged heel counter and ankle flap panels.
This multi-colored rendition, heavily influenced by one of the globe’s most heralded destinations in Asia is currently rumored to launch on September 5th exclusively on SNKRS.
