The major drip sneakerheads needed
The partnership between New Balance and The Apartment Tokyo gave a GORE-TEX 801 upgrade to an explosive new pair, counting on the sneakers resistance — which takes the silhouette to another level.
GORE-TEX panels and premium leather, which are tinted by a wide variety of shades like yellow, black, red, and blue, bring us to the origin of its nickname Toucan. The new design has been boldly arranged to resemble a Brazilian toucan, a bird found in the jungle, where weather conditions can change from a hot climate to a rainstorm in just a few moments. Its nickname was given due to the great resemblance it has with this imposing bird.
Thanks to a hardy leather and ripstop upper, GORE-TEX lining and hardcore metal hardware, this NB pair would be perfect for any long-distance travel, like climbing mountains or cruising the Mad Max desert while fighting, for example.
The Japanese heritage plays a huge part in the story behind theses dope sneakers, now walk it like I talk it and tap play to see these pair of NBs cruising thru Tokyo Streets and why not a tradicional Japanese pizza place like Tony's Pizza AKA ホープ軒本舗.
These will be available via Apartment on June 27th and if you live in North America or Europe, you can only buy online on DSMNY and DSMLA Gift Shop Kiosk Space.
