Sneakers for soldiers
The Parisian fashion house has finally arrived in the sneakerhead's radar, as Balmain as it can be.
Military influence comes back in three long-teased brand new sneakers – the army boot-inspired “Troop”; “B Ball”, with a basketball soul; and the full leather sock-like “Glove”.
The Balmain sneaker collection dropped first in the runaways, then headed straight to its own pop-up store at Selfridges, in London. A video signed by Vitali Gel presents i all in a "fragment of a dream", as Gel himself describes it.
