Sevigny stages a bold takeover of Marc Jacobs'
Chloë Sevigny and Marc Jacobs are giving us the ’90s vibes we so unabashedly adore.
Now fronting Marc Jacobs' Resort 2021 Campaign, Sevigny looks ever part the modern icon, posing in the brand’s New York City office headquarters.
It can't get more nostalgic, because having begun their relationship in the ’90s, Jacobs and Sevigny met after an on-set encounter at the filming of Sonic Youth’s music video for the band’s hit single Sugar Kane. Shot in the Marc Jacobs showroom at Perry Ellis, the two creatives were bound to take over everything, and they have done it.
In the visuals shot by Haley Wollens, the actress takes over the fashion designer’s headquarters in New York City, posing on office desks and in the brand’s studio.
The style guru is spotted wearing some of the label’s fresh arrivals, one of them the black-and-white Crinkle Leather Tote Bag, which comes in many colors and sizes and features natural grain leather, a removable leather crossbody strap, and a debossed signature logo.
From lounging on a table to standing prominently on a desk, the muse embodies the bold and somewhat uptown-esque woman this collection compels us to be.
Plush in texture and vibrant in color, this collection is the in-and-out-of-office attire we are sure to be wearing in the months to come.
