Rico Customs: restoration & customization of bikes and Porsches

RICO, from Rico Customs, had been involved with automobiles his whole life before he became an expert in customization.

"When I was young, my dad took me to the Zandvoort race track for a classic car race weekend, which I enjoyed a lot. I got hooked with classic cars straight away. I fell in love with the Porsche shape and the flat 6 engine. It’s just something special, something I dreamt of.

As soon as I got my drivers license, I bought my first car and started working on it. I restored them and customized them the way I liked. This is where my passion for customizing and restoring classic cars all began."

FUN FACT: Café racer is a term used to describe children who hung out in cafés and raced fast. They used to pull out in transport cafés 'till someone came by on a fast bike and asked them for a race, then they all jumped outside to see who got the fastest up the highway.
