preview of the custom Jason Voorhees Nike Dunks by Warren Lotas
LA-based streetwear designer WARREN LOTAS has become known for their strikingly bold graphics that are inspired from ’80s and ’90s Western culture. Love for creepy stuff is represented plenty of pieces by brand. We've seen Friday the 13th refs before, like in the JASON mask jacket with each component of the mask made with hand-cut piece of leather, and we've been into it since then.
In celebration of the 40th birthday of the cult classic slasher Friday the 13th, the artist/designer Warren Lotas is DROPPING A PAIR OF CUSTOM NIKE DUNK LOWS inspired by the Jason Voorhees movie.
The limited-edition arrives crafted with various leather types, featuring a white base and green suede leather overlays. The cream-colored panel swoosh is subtly designed with minimal perforations and red and black detailing, reflecting the iconic hockey mask worn by Voorhees in the franchise. Red laces offer a contrasting hit to the model as it rests on a matching green midsole and white outsole.
A post on Warren's Gram said the custom pair will see a limited release of only 2,000 pairs. The designer also revealed that the shoes won’t be shipping out until September due to possible delays, and said on a Gram post:
"I have already ordered these shoes but they will not be in my possession until late September due to international freight shipping times, so given the delays last time, if these shoes do not ship before October 15th, I am giving everyone $100 + the shoes".
The sneakers are releasing next Sunday, 8/2, costing 300 USD. You can order yours at Lotas’ website.
