Pharrel and Tyler, The Creator at Virgil Abloh's final LV show.
Amid arguments and guesswork about who will replace Virgil Abloh in the creative direction of Louis Vuitton, PFW was about tributes.
The latest men's collection signed by the designer was presented with a soundtrack by Tyler, The Creator, in a historic and emotional way.
The show, which presented the pieces created by the designer who left us in 2021, marks a very important moment for the brand. Streetwear combined with tailoring has always been part of the story told by Abloh, as well as hats, prints, and functional leather designs.
The chosen setting was the Louis Dreamhouse, which created an atmosphere of childhood dreams, with innocence and boundless creativity. There was a dance performance with an orchestra, and at the end, some models walked down the catwalk wearing angel wings.
In addition to Tyler, The Creator, other close friends of Abloh's like Pharrell and Kanye West were on the front row of the event that brought together many celebs. After 2 years of virtual shows, Abloh has managed to bring people together again and open discussions about what the fashion industry will be like from now on.
We show you Virgil Abloh's legacy here.
