Peep the top 10 fave sneakers of Beija Marie Velez
Not many ppl can claim to have designed for a major streetwear powerhouse so young, but BEIJA MARIE VELEZ can. She put pen to paper and conceived her first sneaker design at 7 years old ― little did she know that years later and many accomplishments down the line, Adidas would produce a limited edition pair based off one of her designs.
Basically since the beginning, her rise in streetwear culture has been nonstop and full speed ahead. Currently the eclectic creative has worked with an impressive list of pop culture figures and streetwear labels, having modeled for Nike and been the personal social media manager for Usher himself. With her obvious dedication and multidisciplinary approach, it's obvious her role in street culture is only beginning.
We chatted with the multitalented designer on about her roots, future plans, and most importantly: her fave kicks. Scroll for Beija's top ten favorite sneakers of all time and find our full chat with her here.
