Palace x Mercedes AMG collab.
Fans of speed and maneuvers in two completely opposite ways have got a collection just for themselves. Mercedes AMG has just dropped a collection with the Palace skateboard brand, inspired by the common characteristics between motorsport and street skateboarding.
But it's not just a collection of clothes, which would be dope enough. They created a car together. The Mercedes AMG GT3 racing car was shown during the recently held ADAC 24-hour-race at the Nürburgring racetrack.
Palace thought about the car's design, printing a white saber-toothed tiger on its bonnet to represent the partnership between the two brands. The chosen colors symbolize the sunsets of the Indian savannah and the fur of the tiger: orange, violet, black, and white.
These same colors were used in pieces from the line Get Sehr Fast that sold out faster than a Mercedes, which was inspired by the raw and beast-like AMG power. Together, they created an aesthetic that appeals to motor and street style fans, matching performance, movement, and cool outfits.
For those who enjoy the steering wheel, there are leather-sleeved racing jackets, driving gloves, high-level leather bags, and technical Gore-Tex shells. If you're on the balance and ramp team, there are hoodies, caps, boards, and a skateboard with matching sets of wheels in an AMG rim design. Rihanna, Jay-Z, and The Weeknd have already picked their pieces.
BMX fans also have Mercedes, take a look.
