MLMA started her own movement that goes beyond tracks
It would be superficial to define MeLoveMeALot as an e-girl and a Korean rapper with a lot of hype among the gen Z on Instagram. At 20 something, MLMA 멜로 starts her own artistic movement that goes beyond music, clothing, and social media. Her body is her canvas and she has no limits to create and make you feel uncomfortable with her creations.
We don't know her name and she remains a secret, but that's just a small detail about her personality. After quitting a normal job as a fashion designer, she decided to explore a new life as an artist, as she shows on Instagram. 🗯️
Today, MLMA멜로 is the main designer of Skoot, an uprising Korean streetwear brand that creates custom pieces we show you here. Her designs have a lot of anime references and street-punk aesthetics that mix graffiti stuff. 🧷👾The UGGZ jacket, for example, is customized and hand-painted as if she used a marker pen in the leather, it’s savage. Following the e-girl vibe, she created the Bubble-Yum sneakers with pen blur details and embossed texture that looks like pink gum.
She's also designed Billie Eilish and is really close to Post Malone, so the approach to music was a natural thing to her. She wrote, produced, and created the KÅIKÅI project with her first release, You Can't Kill Me I'm Alive last year.
You should def listen to her most recent track too, My Future Gonna Kill It.
In this video, MLMA멜로 shows that even when she's not wearing one of her pieces, she can make it exclusive. She personalized her Tabi Boots with nail polish, as you did in high school, but she knows what she is doing. It's self-styled with some good chaotic energy, like hers.
She takes the risks, makes you pay attention, and creates her art for herself. 💋
If you're looking for an aesthetic more casual.
