Mercedes X McLarens collab SLR
When two iconic names in the Motorsport industry meet, machines like SLR are born.
McLaren & Mercedes crossed paths for the first time back in 1995 when Mercedes became McLaren's F1 Engine supplier & since then their partnership creates big projects, including Formula 1s.
Their competition with Ferrari heated up in 2003 when the Italian brand launched Enzo Ferrari & Porsche's Carrera GT. So, McLaren and Mercedes' response was SLR — a car with supercharged 5.5-liter engine, ahead-of-its-time brakes & unforgettable red leather seats.
Its elegance was a game-changer with red interiors and an elongated body featuring an arrow-like nose in contrast with the bold snarling side-exit exhausts.
This rare gem with an all-leather interior is priced at £199,995 on DK Engineering's website.
