Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi dropping Jan 30
When it comes to silhouettes, Reebok's Classic Leather is a familiar one. But when it comes to unique touches to a design, Maison Margiela's Tabi toe has a history that will still be innovative for decades to come.
The fresh Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi mixes the legendary French luxury house's split-toe with Reebok's favorite leather performance sneakers.
One of the highlights here is the all-black base with paint cascaded over the whole pair. This technique, called Bianchetto, which makes the paint chips away from the leather with wear, is a classic move by Margiela. We could see that on their AW20 collection and even on the buzzed collab with Converse with premium off-white leather back in 2013.
The first glance at the kicks was by Kim Kardashian on her IG Stories and left people wanting more angles of the fresh design.
Putting Reebok on the high-end kind-of-obscure fashion, this collab is dropping for $350 USD on January 30 and will be available at select retailers, including Reebok's webstore.
