Guitar Wolf entered the space to leave their mark

In the height of the outlandish '80s rock n' roll scene, Japanese band Guitar Wolf entered the space to leave their mark ― which transcended industries and has lasted for decades.

Stepping up with individual style and an eclectic musical style, the band is responsible for the OG coining of the niche "jet rock n' roll" genre, heavily influenced by the energetic roots of late '70s punk, garage rock, and icons like the Ramones. Their uniquely blended style propelled the group forward across multiple industries, leading to thirteen international studio albums, sci-fi horror movie features, and even their own clothing line that boasts endless sleek leather.

An appropriately grungy yet hardcore fashion taste shines through in their music videos as well, including the sci-fi inspired production for their "Jet Generation" track ― extraterrestrial visuals are offset by biker-esque streetwear looks that feature classic rock n' roll black leather jackets for each of the band members.

Guitar Wolf's own line of Jet clothing reflects the band's distinct style, offering a collection of apparel from outerwear to accessories. Among the selection is a leathered motorcycle jacket, manufactured by Schott NYC as a variation of their renowned 613 Perfecto silhouette which dominates in the biker community.

Their authentic rockstar style and obvious affinity for premium leather garnered attention from other industry names ― Britain's oldest motorcycle company since 1892, Lewis Leathers, even invited the group to headline their celebratory rock show that commemorated the opening of their Tokyo location. They've since released a model as a tribute for the band, known as the 723 Memphis ― and you can bet the made-to-order jacket's elite build and quality leather will allow the piece to last just as long as Guitar Wolf's influence.
