Get to know the Brompton's handmade and foldable bikes
If you can ride, ride. That's what Brompton calls for to ease city life to the max.
The London-based brand is hand-making foldable bikes since 1975 to transform London's chaotic traffic and space and leave public transport for those who need it.
As they invite people to make cities healthier and happier with such an environmentally friendly habit, they honor 45 years heritage of handmade work with a conscious production process.
It all started when Brompton's inventor and founder, Andrew Ritchie, created prototypes of the bikes from his bedroom in South Kensington, London. And this design stood the test of time.
The saddles with a big range of colors and adjustable sizing can be chosen from the Brompton saddle or a leather Brooks England saddle, which by itself carries a long history in leather design since 1866.
Brompton also released an E-bike so you can effortlessly fly up hills and arrive at your destination without a sweat. You just have to charge, unfold and go.
