Furn pieces placed to create a warm and comfy space.
Letting the sunlight stream into your loft makes for a happier, healthier home – and will reveal your interior in its full glory as well. The key is to ensure natural lighting reaches your converted loft or attic room, considering the areas' architecture and configuration carefully.

Located in Little Italy, San Diego, The Dutra is a loft designed to perfection: the spot is a wonderful room filled with natural light and a feeling of space we don't see all the time.
And yes, you can rent the place if you're thinking of visiting California.
The Dutra was our home for 8 odd years before we decided to share this weird little building with the world. We use the word ‘weird’ with love. The architect, James Brown, salvaged walls and windows and floors and doors from around San Diego to earn that word rightfully and assemble together a building that was cool enough to be named after his daughter: The Dutra Brown.

If you’re lucky, you’ll find a stunning, modern apartment that provides high-end amenities and loads of natural light like this one. But if you don't, you can make it your own way, adding key-designs to improve the space, like a big, comfy leather couch: one of the best investments you can make, we ensure it.
And beyond the money talk, you'll have a cozy spot to call your own, being a leather reading chair that will last a lifetime, or a more luxe pov, like a high bay window.
We turned this space into an inn last year, and now, we’re ready to share our space with all of you. These are weird (not said with love) times, and we hope our space can be your escape, your hideaway. Welcome. We’re glad you’re here.

The colors, furniture, and textures in this spot all complement the natural light streaming into the space, and through these pics, you can almost smell the coffee in the air.
