Fly Geenius x Vanson Leather collab: Racing to Success
Officially unveiled the partnership between Fly Geenius and Vanson Leather: a series of leather jackets and streetwear pieces dubbed Racing to Success just drop and we'll show you what to cop.
Flat Track Racing has its origins in the legacy of Vanson's racing suits: one of the oldest and most exciting types of racing in the U.S. No brakes on a slippery dirt track using your foot for balance in turns of 100 + miles per hour, plus handlebars hitting racers as you slide around the corners: that's Flat Track Racing.
Back in the day, Dave Aldana shocked the racing community with a skeleton design on his racing suit. It was frowned upon by the AMA as it was an “outlaw” influence, so much so that it was almost banned from use. Later on, Vanson sponsored Aldana using this design from 1984 to 1986.
The unique design has become a late trend for brands such as Kapital and Supreme, reimagining the style with modern color schemes and fabrics that have kept Aldana's name alive for leather fans of a new generation.
Today, the music and fashion culture experience of Fly Geenius adds a modern and authentic way to this collab, mixing the legendary reputation of Vanson Leather in the motorcycle racing industry with their fresh take on classic pieces.
Peep at the pieces' details below and drop your fave in our 'Gram comments.
The new designs featuring the original bones anatomy were launched as part of Flygeenius’ debut NYC pop-up, including this yellow & black variation (already worn by NBA YoungBoy).
Next, we have the killer white design that comes under the rib cage with the incorporation of a heart motif.
Alongside the skeleton pack is a ghost-rider-inspired flame racer design that has the brands logo on the back with the addition of flames on the sleeves.
The brand has also crafted plain black and a silver version for those who choose something a little more low-key. Every model comes entirely lined with a rayon lining branded by Flygeenius.
The meticulous commitment of Vanson Leathers to quality and the value put on original ideas mirrors that of Fly Geenius, which highlights that an age or movement may become an icon for an original idea.

The collection channels those values, encouraging people to understand the benefits of dedication, underlining that success stories will become fresh ideas; a feeling increasingly important today.
