FADD studio created Ash Abode
Inspired by the Japanese art of Ukiyo-e — roughly translated into ‘living in the moment’ — comes a new duplex residence to represent minimalism & zen life in Bengaluru, India.
FADD studio based in Bangalore created the Ash Abode project with simplicity, clean lines & luxurious blocks of color. They were also inspired by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret with reinterpretations of their leather furniture, art, and interior works in every corner of the space. The blocks of color on the whole project come from the designer's conscious effort to avoid white — from the walls and ceiling in soft grey-green to the contrast of burnt sienna colored floors. The choice of furniture gets a round of applause right here for being able to create a welcoming & serene space with high-quality leather pieces in natural browns and greens.
‘Living in the moment’ is pretty easy in places like this.
