Drake's latest drop gave us a taste of his dope cars collection
Drake's latest EP release "Scary Hours 2" arrives just in time for warm spring joyrides, and if u know anything about the rapper you know he'll be blasting it in style.
The mixtape of three tracks arrives in anticipation of the rapper's delayed upcoming 2021 album, "Certified Lover Boy" ― and if his recent 2020 drop "Laugh Now Cry Later" is any indication of how hype the release will be, we've got a lot to look forward to.
Beyond dropping constant bangers that have earned him more number 1 hits than Michael Jackson, the rapper has a reputation for flexing his opulent lifestyle and elite taste ― which you can see for yourself in plenty of his music videos, usually in the form of fire custom wheels like the Mercedes-McLaren SLR with a striking trimmed interior seen in his latest visual release for "What's Next". In his 2020 Laugh Now Cry Later video, you'll see an ultra-exclusive ride tho: the one-of-a-kind Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept car.
The striking 20-foot long convertible boasts an elegant Art Deco-inspired body in sleek Nautical Blue Metallic, complemented by chrome accents. Inside the futuristic interior, clean white nappa leather upholstery is illuminated by ice blue accent lighting on the yacht-inspired floor. Although the concept car is mostly for show and not owned by the rapper, his taste is just as elite ― scroll for a few honorable mentions from his collection that prove it.
Bugatti Veyron – Sang Noir Edition
This ride gets even more impressive when you consider that it was Drake's first major upgrade into fame, from his less-than-impressive OG Acura TSX ― coupled with the fact that Drake was the only model owner in Canada, in blacked-out, red leather interior glory.
Ferrari LaFerrari
Drake became a member of an exclusive owner's club with this sleek blacked-out, red trimmed model ― joining names like Kylie Jenner who own one of the 499 that have ever been made.
Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 Roadster
This futuristic, clean white ride with black leather interior looks like it's straight out of a comic book ― so much so that Drake wrote a verse about the Batmobile-esque car: “Lamborghini got me feelin’ like Christian Bale. And I never bend my morals for the ticket sales.”
Mansory Rolls-Royce Phantom
Last but far from least: a completely bespoke, one-of-one edition Rolls-Royce Phantom, customized by Tony Bet. Drake's version features black and a distinct Bushukan-yellow color, representing happiness and long life. The design is complete with an OVO owl representing the rapper's record label.
