Daniel Arsham's Art Storage Space.
We must hear it ever since we're children that we need to keep our things well organized so that they're easy to find when we need them, but that should not be Daniel Arsham's motivation. After all, who would lose sight of a collection of Porsches, Mercedes, and so many other rare classics?
We've already talked about Arsham's work as a time-defying designer here, and his collabs with Porsche for the 930A, 911, and Carrera 4S, but now let's take a look at how he organizes these gems.
At the top, the 1991 Carrera mint green 964 which was once a Japanese car with different configurations. This one hasn't even been rebuilt by Arsham yet, but hopefully, the original leather seats and color will remain.
But you can't always keep everything on the shelves, sometimes your cars end up scattered in the middle of the office, it happens to everyone.
Arsham has another talent — yes, one more — matching cars with his fits of the day. For work, Nike Air Dior with the Porsche 930A. Something more casual? Aimé Leon Dore with the red leather interior of the Carrera A.
Just a guy who likes cars, he says. Luckily for us, this guy's not going to stop creating and reinventing what we understand as car art.
