Casablanca explores race tracks and casinos for FW'21
Besides the actual race, the whole glare of Monaco's bygone era is the spark on glamorous parties and infamous racetracks.
Against the backdrop of the French Riviera, CasablancaⒸ took inspiration for its Fall/Winter '21 collection in the Grand Prix, showcasing an eclectic mix of patterns with a leather dip on the main bags, belts, and jackets of the season. Nothing but sleek elegant silhouettes.
“We spent a lot of time working on the prints for this collection, and we put particular importance on tailoring and new shapes,” shared designer and founder Charaf Tajer.
This FW '21 also marks the brand's first exploration into womenswear offering for both collections of racing suits and tracksuits with a CasablancaⒸ twist. Structured bags and geometric leather coats explore the bright colors the material can offer. On foot, we can get a glimpse of the upcoming collab with New Balance. Tap play to enter the hotel bash.
CasablancaⒸ is not the first high-end brand to get inspired by the auto universe, as recently launched RHUDE's McLaren-inspired collection. But why is the auto industry suddenly so connected with fashion?
Both the automotive and fashion industries play with the concept of limited edition drops to elevate its value and desirability while sticking to a slower and exclusive production. All that equals extra care and quality for high-quality products, including fresh hand-stitched leathers.
Release info for the whole collection to drop is yet to be announced, but we can expect NB kicks coming very soon 🎾.
