Andersson Bell takes the ASICS GEL-1090 to hiking
Many brands have sought resistance and innovation in the performance of their shoes because people have demanded durable and versatile designs. If you’re one of those people looking for a long-lasting sneaker that is full of personality and comfortable for a walk, you just found it.
We’ve been following the new Asics projects in 2021, they’re working on unbeatable collabs, using high-quality leather and being very conscious about sustainability in their designs, as we showed you with the Asics Monozukuri, an ode to Japanese craftsmanship.
The GEL-1090 was launched on March 20, offering comfort, practicality, and a design that accompanies you wherever you go. Looking at the silhouette you can even think that it is a minimalist piece, but there is a composition of double laces, with the known strong-stripes of the brand on each side.
Around the structure, these kicks have ropes attached to hooks, resembling climbing equipment. Breathable mesh and smooth leathers are used for the base and the overlays and vector logo, showing how Andersson recreated this design to be adaptable to every space and every moment.
The GEL-1090 comes in three colorways, including gray, orange, and black, and costs €140.
There's a right snkr for everything.
