All we know about the new Chevy Beast concept.
The name says it all. What was supposed to be a pickup truck has become the outrageous monster easily capable of taking on a desert.
The first concept for the Chevy Beast was to be a Silverado. Engineers even used the model's chassis as a base, which ended up becoming shorter but also wider.
It was a brutal renovation of the pickup with more than 20 years of existence, one of the most well-known by Chevrolet, changing its size and interior quality. If it follows in the footsteps of their inspiration, this new Chevy will likely feature sturdy leather seats paired with 4-point seatbelts.
With a much more aggressive structure, the Chevy Beast was built with suspension and tires capable of withstanding the most difficult terrain while maintaining a speed similar to a Corvette.
It’s important to remember that General Motors, the conglomerate of which Chevrolet is a part, has been working to ensure the same speed as the sports cars in its new electric trucks and SUVs. A more sustainable version of Silverado itself has already been announced and is expected to arrive by 2025.
This Beast could be in a dystopian video game and would easily be accepted by the Galag Collective.
