A first glimpse at Zoë Kravitz in full leather drip
Zoë Kravitz just broke the internet as Catwoman in the new Batman movie.
She was spotted on set, shooting funeral scenes in Liverpool.
The Batman, which was originally slated for release on June 25, 2021, will now release on March 4, 2022, and the production counts with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and Zoë Kravitz as the black burglar, what brings a controversy to the table.
That's because, for some fans, the idea that the original character was a white woman is a thing, but actually, the role was taken by black powerful woman before, like Eartha Kitt and Halle Berry.
Kravitz will play a character known for her killer wardrobe, joining a long line of famous female leads who have played Catwoman in the past, but will she mark her role as a fashion symbol as Michelle Pfeiffer did back in 1992's Batman Returns?
The role’s skintight leather uniform was squeezed into more and more actors since the '90s, and Zoë's character seems to buy the idea of the classic and timeless full leather look too.
Kravitz previously revealed that she consulted with veteran Michelle Pfeiffer, but we're guessing she will put her own sauce in it.
