4 ways to decor your home for Christmas.
If you live with the family, you've probably decorated your home for Christmas already. But if you live alone and don't even know how to buy a tree, here's an inspiration boost 🎄.
Christmas is all about hospitality and coziness, but if you have good furniture at home, everything is easier. You can already begin to imagine yourself in the half-light eating freshly baked cookies — or having a glass of wine — in front of your tree, so keep reading our tips.
1. Keep it simple.
We've chosen a few pics of Lone Fox on Instagram that are ideal for showing that you don't even need to put lights on the roof. He also posted a video showing how he decorated his living room, and this is definitely the most important space, as you'll be welcoming people here. See how he ran away from red and Santas, choosing earth tones for his tree ornaments and leather sofa cushions. Cozy definition.
2. Make your rules.
It's not because it’s a Christmas decor that you need to choose the same colors or the same boring ornaments. We have a pre-established idea that the house needs to look like Santa's cabin, but you can get that out of your head. Can you imagine having to pick all those mini objects later, to use them again only next year? Choose what makes you comfortable, and combine it with the natural materials you already have, and already like.
3. Choose your colors.
Christmas doesn't necessarily have to be green, red, and gold. Here are some ideas of how to use white, blue, and yellow in more minimalist decors. Can we point you to a really key item? A leather armchair by the fireplace.
4. Traditions are free.
Okay, maybe you don't want to be minimalist, so here's an inspiration with the full combo: big black leather sofas, lots of red bows, and lights everywhere.
