UNIque FORM boots: Maison Valentino x Harry Nuriev
We're sure you've heard 'bout Harry Nuriev, before, the designer who gives a colorful spin to minimalism interiors. But just in case you haven't, we talked to him earlier this year and you can read it all here.
Celebrating the launch of the Valentino Garavani UNIque FORM boot — a unisex boot with a nod to the punk era — Spazio Maiocchi invited the Russian, NY-based designer Harry Nuriev to the celebration at a digital event.
The UNIque FORM is a calfskin flatform boot made of supple leather. The pair has a traditional Chelsea silhouette with elasticated side inserts and rear pull tabs for easy on-off wear. On the back of the heels, the label's V logo is embossed, giving a directional slant.
The accessory arm of Valentino Garavani is so proud of its tight craftsmanship that it even has a museum designed to preserve and exhibit the artisanal process behind its designs. A heritage brand that uses leather to make a timeless symbol that will last longer than any fashion trend.
You can choose between a classic black pair, or an exclusive red — cop yours by tapping here for the dark pair or here for the red one.
In the editorial by Kaleidoscope Magazine shot in Moscow by Sasha Chaika, Nuriev is caught sporting the boot in places that speak to his earliest sources of inspiration in Soviet architecture and Russian "bad taste".
In addition to the leather boots, the protagonist of the event was the artist and multi-hyphenate founder of Crosby Studios, Harry Nuriev — called to put his aesthetic imagery at the service of the House through sharing his creative process and aesthetic references.
