Tyler, the Creator hits Billboard No. 1 again.
A NEW ERA IS HERE. A few weeks before releasing his new record, Tyler created real buzz teasing with billboards, a skit, and statement videos for Lumberjack, WusYaName, and Corso. Now, Call Me If You Get Lost, released at the end of June, scored his second No. 1 record.
It unseated Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR, which had occupied the top slot for two weeks. Tyler landed his first No. 1 LP with Igor in 2019.
And the fashion references don't stop at the videos. In the lyrics for Blessed, he references his brand
Golf Wang's doin' amazing, might open up another store
le FLEUR* is goin' insane, smell good, nail polish
Converse, Gucci
Camp Flog Gnaw one of the best festivals
I'm healthy, my skin glowin', my friends healthy
As you may remember from here, launched @ the 2019 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, Converse & Tyler, The Creator's GOLF le FLEUR's Gianno sneaker crafted almost 2 years of concept & experimenting to create a 100% unique silhouette with sculpted upper in a mix of leather, suede, and mesh layers, inspired by Tyler's passion for BMX and trail hiking.
And to celebrate the release of it all, Tyler even enlisted Alex Moss New York to craft a new chain. The Bunny Hop Piece and Gumball Chain is made of 887 grams of 18k gold with 186 carats of VVS diamonds, 60 carats of pink sapphires, and 23,517 stones.
Aside from creating the new neckpiece, they also put together The Fleur* Pearl Buckle with the logo of his brand in the form of an extending belt buckle with a series of pearls of differing sizes for a dynamic look.
Hike beast vibes.
