The TypeO Loft is reviving our connection with ourselves.
How many hours a day do you spend connected? And connected with yourself? We have shown you several options of refuges that mix the best of design with the serenity of being in the middle of nature because the truth is that we are all in need of a break.
Fortunately, even with the pandemic, it’s possible (in some countries) to go to secluded places safely, leaving some of the world — and chaos — behind. This is the idea behind this loft by the Swiss studio TypeO, “a secluded one-room slow living bed and breakfast in Skåne, specifically arranged for your comfort and relaxation.”
TypeO Loft is located in a rural region, on the second floor of a 19th-century farmstead that TypeO's founders, Micha van Dinther and Magnus Wittbjer. Each object and piece of furniture was carefully chosen thinking of rescuing the experience of the small rituals, combining beauty and functionality.
The place, filled with designs by the studio itself, has a small kitchen equipped for guests to prepare their own breakfast while enjoying the view. And speaking of that, by the windows that give a view of a calm field there is a comfortable black leather Togo lounger, durable, timeless, and essential to complete this landscape.
If you're ready to pack, go to their website to make your reservation. At the moment we're living in, silence, serenity, and seclusion are the new goods.
