Take a look at the new Avondale Bowl in Chicago
There's a new spot for who's around the Avondale neighborhood in Chicago. The new Avondale Bowl took over the long-vacant Northwest Bowl space that closed in the 1990s after being the bowling spot for nearly 4 decades, keeping its best features & updating the vintage interior.
Created by RANGE Design & Architecture, the space has a retro feel with a modern touch. There are just eight lanes of bowling, hand scoring, and a variety of spaces with leather custom seating options and palette combinations. It took 2 years of renovations to bring the Bowl back to its former glory restoring the original pinsetters, ball returns, wood lanes, and mahogany bar rail — they were even able to salvage some of the original Northwest Bowl bowling balls.
They def made it worth the wait.
