See the new Travis Scott x Mc Donald's collab
Travis Scott began to tease out his new partnership with McDonald’s through an Instagram post that surely made us feel like we’re in a simulation — “CACTUS JACK IS COMING” — it wasn’t the least bit surprising.
McDonald's announced that they will incorporate moves across cuisine, fashion, and community. Until October 4th, the Travis Scott Meal will be available at participating locations nationwide — this is only the 2nd time McDonald’s has collaborated with a celebrity since Michael Jordan in 1992.
And as if it wasn’t enough to make us want to leave the diet without a blink, he also put out his ultra-rare sneakers. This is the definitive s/o to the Wu-Tang Dunks: Travis has been wearing them for the promo shoots.
Back in the late '90s, this model was limited to only 36 pairs, in honor of the group's 36 chambers, and distributed to friends and family of the legendary Staten Island hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan.
This re-edition of the shoe features a two-tone blend of black and Goldenrod leather hues, identical to the Wu-Tang colorway, though the latter adds the Wu-Tang ‘W’ logo on the heel and tongue tag. The sneaker is reportedly one of the rarest and in-demand shoes among dedicated sneaker collectors and the pair quickly became a cult hit — a hit that's lasting more than the leather in the sneakers.
Scott's Cactus Jack has also come through with custom apparel for McDonald's crew members, with additional collab elements set to be revealed soon.
And in case you missed it, the master of editing and digital artist COLE gifted all of us with two special edits for the new drop on his 'Gram.
