Quality leather, vibrant colors, and paparazzi aesthetics are the hallmarks of the brand that represents a playful and new Scandinavian style.
Created by best friends Barbara Potts and Cathrine Saks in 2013, SP was born from their desire to make clothes they would like to wear. “The launch of Saks Potts all started with a missing coat,” they explain to the Independent.
According to the founders, the Scandinavian market was dominated by straight lines and very neutral colors, as if it were forbidden to stand out. It was then that designers offered this escape filled with colorful and eccentric leather coats like the Sarah Blazer and Amalie Coat.
One of the most famous coats on Instagram could be called Bella or Kendall, as the trench coat piece with furry sleeves has become the models' favorite.
Dua Lipa, Cardi B, and Lady Gaga also have a few pieces by Saks Potts in their closets, as well as none other than North West.
Regarding the use of materials, SP proves that young people are aware of the quality and sustainability of their products by using lamb leather from responsible farms in Denmark. They refuse to use synthetic materials due to their negative impact on the planet and poor durability.
