The Danish duo seeks to explore the full duality of furniture production, bridging the best of the old and the new, and managing to successfully pay homage to traditional skills in their practice, while also pushing the envelope of what modern technology and tools make possible within the furniture industry. The production process honors traditional artisanship with each product made exclusively by a team of skilled selected craftsmen and women, based locally in Denmark.

Handmade touches are apparent in each of Overgaard & Dyrman's unique contemporary pieces, which frequently pull inspiration from both geometric shapes and organic forms found in nature. In addition to their dedication to sourcing only the highest quality of materials, their "made to order" process minimizes excess material by only manufacturing specific pieces which have been ordered ― adding a meaningful sense of customization to each purchased product. The studio's commitment to sustainability is evident from start to finish, from their ethically sources durable leather to their minimal waste production process.
