Miista's ready-to-treadmill leather heels balance design
Online shopping in 2020 got us packed with a lot of cops we didn't have the chance to properly wear yet. But for Miista's footwear campaign that doesn't matter.
For a chance to check these structured and elegant leather boots in action, the brand from London's East End shows how versatile their designs really are.
Boots like Abril, Callie, Anoki, and Ekatarina have each a different personality (just like the women they were inspired by), but they all carry Miista's intention to play with shapes and materials without sacrificing quality, wearability, or price.
Such leathercraft is all sourced from Italy and Spain with the help of a small team that has the same goal: design and craft with the state of the art in mind. Just like they said, "there’s nothing you really ‘must-have’ this season, but if you need a solid boot that makes sense, Abril is the one."
They attribute the success of their shoes to the craftswo/men in Alicante, Spain — a shoemaking community that has been upholding tradition since the 19th century.
The brand's Founder and Head of Design Laura Villasenin got inspired by her rural Spanish heritage with a modernist female sentiment — which resulted in the surrealism and timelessness the designs have.
A balance made obvious in those drips.
