This is Lord Quas, or just Quas for the most intimate fans. He's the beloved animated alter ego from Californian hip-hop producer Madlib and is known for the high-pitched voice that interacts with Madlib's regular voice in the Quasimoto project.

Billboard has just released a list of the 50 greatest producers of the 21st century. According to them, on this list are “[…] the 50 greatest studio specialists of this century: the most innovative, impactful, and important knob-twiddlers since 2000.”
And who's there? Yep, Madlib. With much of the credit for his Quasimoto work. We put a mixtape together for you to understand why. Tap play below.
Among his associated artists and defining work, there's also another well-known figure from the hip-hop scene: MF DOOM. The legendary rapper partners up with Madlib in one of the GOAT albums from this generation, Madvillainy.
