BMW has just launched the high-end...
2021 is not over yet and we got a glimpse of the future straight from Miami and we have BMW to thank for that.
The German brand that hadn't released a completely exclusive model since the M1 debuted the Concept XM during Art Basel, with celebrities and design enthusiasts like Luka Sabbat in attendance. Despite the concept in the name, all the sophistication, power, and functionality are real and electric.
According to the tests, the XM guarantees an estimated purely electric range of 80 kilometers, reaching a brutal 750 horsepower in a clean way.
The high-end and futuristic aesthetic of the sports bodywork represents the brand's chosen message, “the face of new luxury.” All sides look sculpted, and octagonal lighting reinforces XM's strong and powerful identity.
Following the sustainable initiative, but with a high level of design, the interior of this car is breathtaking. In addition to all the technology we expect from a BMW and its iDrive, the entire experience is driver-focused with materials of indescribable quality.
The seats, panels, and doors are covered in smooth brown leather, with that look of something that only tends to get better with age. The combination of indirect and direct lighting produces an effect worthy of a work of art. And it's available in three BMW M colors, blue, red, and violet.
Production will begin in late 2022 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, US.
