A home for leather steering wheel enthusiasts in Kawagoe.
If some customers ask not to lose sight of nature and place plants in every corner of the house, others want to wake up looking at their high-end wheels collection.
This was an order from a client in Kawagoe, Japan, for the Horibe Associates office. The car enthusiast and owner of a Maserati Shamal doesn't live alone, so the house had to be split into two floors and his wife now has a quiet space to spend time with the dog.
The entire-family part is on the upper floor, where the minimalist decor was created with natural and timeless materials, traditional to Japanese architecture.
The vault that holds the leather interiors, among other Italian cars and motorcycles, was lined with concrete to ensure the tranquility that the rest of the house needs. A real space to share peace of mind and peace of time.
Tranquility overlooking the Mediterranean, let’s go.
