He's not just a pretty face — he's also a motorcycle-riding, champagne-and-truffles toting, generous gift-giver, and the most beloved kind man in Hollywood, the internet, or even the galaxy. We all know he deserves to be the internet's boyfriend.

We can't forget the fact that he is also Neo, our favorite fictional character in cinema history who wears only all-black leather pieces while saving the world.

1. He's even more charming when surrounded by puppies.

Once upon a time, Reeves sat down with BuzzFeed and a gaggle of adorable puppies to answer some fan questions, and nothing has ever been so pure. We swear he doesn't look so sad in the rest of the video.

2. He’s good when no one is watching.

There are many stories of celebrities doing nice things, especially when the camera is on. Still, few actors seem to be caught in the act as much as Keanu Reeves. Small, random acts of kindness have helped elevate Reeves into a symbol of benevolence. In 2011, a video circulated of the actor on the subway. Unaware that someone was recording him, Reeves showcased his gentlemanly side and gave up his seat to a female passenger.

3. He’s a quiet philanthropist.

It’s known that Keanu Reeves is a charitable man. Countless publications talk about this side of him, but most tell of the actor donating millions upon millions of dollars. In reality, the specifics are unclear. That’s not to say that he doesn’t contribute; it’s just that he’s done it quietly and without much publicity. In 1999, Reeves revealed that his younger sister Kim battled lymphatic cancer for eight years. It appears that this motivated him to get involved in cancer charity and research. In 2008, he participated in the Stand Up to Cancer telethon. He revealed that he secretly started his foundation in an interview the following year. In 2020, the actor donated a fifteen-minute Zoom date to the highest bidder, going to Camp Rainbow Gold, a children’s charity in Idaho.

4. He’s kind with good manners.

‎One of the biggest reasons that fans, his coworkers, and the media revere Keanu Reeves is because he presents himself in a very positive way. He’s a nice person and treats others well. Fans have filmed him traversing an airport on his birthday being stopped by nearly every fan to take a picture, which he does without objection. In an interview for Rolling Stone magazine in 2000, interviewers observed that Reeves seems to make a considerable effort to be polite. Still, he said he inherited good English manners from his mother, saying they’re so ingrained that it’s second nature. Those manners were on full display in a 2019 viral Twitter post which showed Reeves using a hover hand technique in pictures with various women, an international sign of respect and good etiquette.

5. He comes bearing gifts.

‎An excerpt from a recent interview with Esquire has made the KR stans go wild, and rightfully so. It confirms what we already knew: the man is just so damn thoughtful. Back in 1994, a year after filming Speed with his co-star Sandra Bullock, the actress mentioned in an offhand comment that she had never tried champagne and truffles. A couple of days later Keanu rocked up at her house, surprising her with champagne, truffles, and flowers – delivered from the heavens as if it were her god-given right to enjoy champagne and truffles. She then proceeded to paint his fingernails black and they hung out for the afternoon. Thankfully, this happened to Sandra Bullock and not us, because if Keanu Reeves were to drop by bearing gifts on his motorbike, we would simply pass out.
