Meet Ricardo Fasanellos fardos.
A furniture creation that invites you to stay as long as you'd like.
Ricardo Fasanello is a Brazilian designer that paved his entire career with uninterrupted/frenetic production striving for perfect form, and exploring the potential of a range of materials, including leather.
His first big hit — which he will be forever known for — is the Fardos lounge chair constructed with three large rolls of foam held together by straps. This leather statement piece is the kind that changes an entire space.
"He worked with leather because the forms he likes need elasticity. He didn’t upholster, he dressed," said Andrea Fasanello, daughter of Ricardo, during Espasso's celebration of the 50 year anniversary of Ricardo Fasanello's first solo show in Miami.
A 1968 design with the timeless vibe we def love.
